Holy Spirit University of Kaslik (USEK) created a 15-year plan to go green and reduce its carbon footprint. As part of its strategy, the school turned to Council Lead Partner Microsoft. Three years ago the school migrated its students from an on premises version of Microsoft Office to the Office 365 online version. And in March, many of USEK’s employees moved to Office 365. The university is said to be the first in Lebanon to do so, and it plans to continue migrating Microsoft-based services it uses to the cloud in the year ahead. Benefits for USEK include enhanced productivity and significant savings in equipment, data storage and other associated costs -- and moving closer to its green goals.
