The Readiness for Resilience Program is designed to help Texas communities impacted by Hurricane Harvey rebuild the infrastructure with resilient, smart technology and best practices.  The program has three essential phases: 1) discover and learn local rebuilding needs; 2) develop “smart technology” resiliency roadmaps for rebuilding; and 3) conduct public workshops to provide stakeholder advice and support.

The July workshops will feature the release of the Resilience Roadmap that includes 16 specific project recommendations drawn from discussions during the discovery phase last December.  Participants will also have the opportunity to hear directly from disaster recovery experts and participate in two separate working groups focused on establishing public-private-partnerships and identifying federal, state and local funding streams.
