Smart Cities Council would like to invite you to be a part of the City of San Antonio Smart Cities Readiness Workshop on March 21 at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center, to develop a community-wide vision for San Antonio as a Smart City. This workshop is an exciting opportunity to capitalize on San Antonio's past efforts and bring together regional visionaries to develop the roadmap that will guide us to the Smart San Antonio of the future.
In September of last year, the Mayor and City Council approved funding to support smart city initiatives in the areas of transportation, sustainability, and digital connected living. The Readiness Workshop will lead to stronger partnerships across sectors and allow us to leverage different expertise, ensuring San Antonio’s Smart City plan is as innovative and inclusive as possible. The workshop will include key leadership from the city, regional governments, utilities, businesses, universities, and non-profits. It will include shared background on smart cities concepts, action planning for a smart San Antonio, and leadership development for the next phase of activities. Topic areas will include existing initiatives around transportation, sustainability, and digital inclusion along with energy, water, open data, and e-government.
This invitation is only available to Smart Cities Council Lead Partners and Associate Partners.
